Feedbro UPDATED! Just Kidding.

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the last time Feedbro was updated. Feedbro is a popular RSS reader that works within browsers like Chrome and Firefox.

It's currently undergoing a rewrite because it doesn’t adhere to Google's best practices for extensions. Any new release will likely look and function quite differently from previous versions.

Feedbro stopped supporting X a while ago for reasons that are probably familiar to most users. There was a last-ditch effort to get it working again using Google News, but even that solution didn’t last long.

Why a feed reader can't get X feeds to work as long as the browser is logged into that social network, I don't know. It seems it could just access the link, scrape the data, and voilà.

That said, I’m not much of a coder, so who knows how complex the implementation would actually be. It’s unfortunate there’s no chance of X enabling its feeds again.
